I find that menu planning in advance means fewer trips to the grocery store and saving money on my grocery budget due to less waste. Here’s what’s on the menu for this week:
Lobster Ravioli (pre-packaged) with a Caprese salad using freshly picked tomatoes, oregano, and basil from my garden
Organic Beef Fajitas & Refried Beans
Leftover Turkey & Cannellini Beans Soup with Rosemary and Sweet Potatoes
Indian style Chickpeas Curry
Organic London Broil (can you tell beef was on sale this week?), spinach salad, green beans
If you want to join in, you can post your menu plan on the Menu Plan Monday meme at Organizing Junkie.

Thanks for sharing your menu. It is so nice to see what someone else is doing so I can get out of the routine and try something different. The London Broil is definitely something I need to whip up. Thanks for the recipes!

I like learning from your menu planning tips.
it saves time, too
Thanks for the tips. I have been trying to do some menu planning as well. I have already noticed it saving money as well
You have tomatoes already?! Wow! I’ve given up on my seedlings so I’m buying some transplants this weekend, but I think it’ll be a while before I see anything from them.

Since this was our first attempt at gardening, we grew everything from transplants. The ‘patio tomato’ plant has been producing ripe tomatoes for a few weeks now – they are a small variety but have been nice in our Caprese salads. I think tomatoes must do very well in Florida since the stores devote like half their vegetable section to different tomato varieties.

These sound good. I try to plan, but we tend to not always be around for regular meals. I manage a couple of full planned meals a week and then use leftovers to improvise for the other meals rounding them out with salads or soup.
sounds like a great meal. We need to start planning more in advance to save time and money
Wow! Your meals for this week sounds delish! I agree. Menu planning has been great for me in saving time and effort in thinking what to cook for the rest of the week.
