As some of you may know, my husband and I are hoping to start our family soon. I had the chance to review the Fertibella Conceive Easy TTC Kit for free, which has some all natural essentials for trying to conceive. Here is the product’s description:
ConceiveEasy is a natural aid that boosts the body’s fertility level by stimulating ovulation and effectively overcoming the seven most common causes of infertility. The formula has been clinically tested and those using ConceiveEasy showed an increased pregnancy rate of 33 percent. The kit assists women in increasing their fertility rate in just 28 days with no unpleasant side effects or dangerous fertility drugs.
It contains a 2 month supply of Fertibella Advanced Conception supplements, and you can choose to customize it with ovulation predictor strips and early result pregnancy tests. The supplements are meant to be taken daily until you become pregnant.
Since I’m already on prescription medication, I did not use the supplements but I can tell you a little about them. Month 1′s formula contains ingredients such as angelica sinensis, glycyrrhiza uralensis, viburnum opulus, folic acid, apis melifica, iron, calcium, rehmannia glutinosa, thryoidinum, progesterone, paeonia alba, panax ginseng, sabina, agnus castus, thiapsi bursa pastoris. Month 2′s formula contains cimicifuga racemosa, lilium tigrinum, helonias dioica, folic acid, apis mellifica, iron, calcium, rehmannia glutinosa, thryoidinum, estrogen, paeonia alba, panax ginseng, sabina, agnus castus, thlapsi bursa pastoris.
I’m telling you this because supplements aren’t FDA regulated, so it’s important to have some idea of what’s going in them. I couldn’t find any other information about the science behind how these herbs and hormones are suppposed to enhance fertility, so as always check with your doctor and/or pharmacist prior to use to avoid any drug interactions with other things you’re taking, especially if you’re already using fertility drugs.
If you’ve been trying to conceive for any time, you are probably well aware that pregnancy tests can be very expensive, so it’s nice getting the bonus pregnancy tests in this kit. Both the pregnancy and LH (ovulation prediction) tests are standard sticks that test your urine and then you look for the test strip to appear along with the control strip. My pregnancy and LH tests performed equally to similar drugstore brands.
The Conceive Easy website also has some information about the science behind getting pregnant and the 7 common obstacles to getting pregnant, which is written in easy to understand terms if you are just starting out trying to get pregnant or deal with infertility.
