Giveaway & Review: Running Divas Womens Running Gear

I know many of you will be kicking off 2012 with resolutions to lose weight or become more fit. My short term goal is to run a PR in my upcoming 5k race on January 15th, and to continue training for a St. Patty’s Day 10k run. Mind you, when I first started running I could barely make it around the block, so I’ve come a long way!

I recently discovered the Running Divas company, which makes womens running clothing, and I am in love! I like this California based company because it’s a boutique business for runners by runners. These aren’t your cookie cutter gym clothes – instead they’re cute and functional. Most of their items have unique little slogans on them to express your commitment to running, which I thought was whimsical and makes their apparel stand out.

Running Divas is a clothing line that inspires women to live fun, active, outdoor lifestyles. A hip line of casual wear for mile-minded women that’s cute and playful, with slogans and styles that celebrate running — a labor of love.

They have a number of colorful womens running tops with slogans like “mile after mile”, “freakishly strong”, “half marathon mom”, etc. Marc is the creative force in the company who comes up with the running poetry which is screen printed onto the shirts. You can see me wearing my “weather or not” Running Divas tank top ($22) above and below. It’s a bit tight, but that’s my fault for guessing on the size and ordering a small when I should have gotten a medium.

I also received two pairs of pants, which are great for both running and for lounging around the house. Not gonna lie, I’d even wear these out grocery shopping or running errands. The Yoga Pant ($36) is made from cotton spandex jersey. They even have running skirts and skorts!

Another thing to love about Running Divas? Their slogans are printed onto American Apparel clothing, which is made in the USA. Basically, every dollar you’re spending on these products are going towards US based businesses. All of the clothing has held up well to numerous wears and washes over the past few weeks.

I truly do feel like a Running Diva with my fabulous new clothes and would definitely purchase from this company again!
