Cold weather has arrived here in Florida, and that means I can finally debut my winter boots! I love the look of wearing boots over skinny jeans or leggings, but I do notice that the jeans tend to bunch around the knees. A new product called the Boot Stroot was designed to prevent jeans from bunching when you wear boots and I was selected to review it.
Using the Boot Stroot is easy. You cuff your jeans, wrap the Boot Stroot around it, and attach the Velcro strap. The Boot Stroot is basically just a stretchy band with Velcro, and comes in black, brown, and blue for $8.99 each.
However, as I demonstrate in my photos below, I saw virtually no difference when I used the Boot Stroot. In the first picture, I’m wearing skinny jeans and the Boot Stroot is on my left leg, the right side is normal. I thought maybe it was just the jeans or the boots, so I switched to a looser bootcut style denim and another pair of boots. Nope, still looked the same. It’s possible I’m doing something wrong, but the directions are pretty simple.
While the idea of the Boot Stroot is great, the bottom line is that it just didn’t work for me. If I had paid $8.99 for one pair, I would have wanted a refund. Hopefully Boot Stroot can tweak their product a little bit and create a design that is more effective.
