When I was a young kid, we didn’t have video games yet so we used toys that required imagination. I distinctly remember how much fun I had with my brothers using our little tape recorder/microphone toy. We would do mock news clips, commercials, and sing…when you are little, there’s just something so entertaining about playing a tape back and hearing your own voice

Needless to say, toys have become more sophisticated but the new Paper Jamz Pro Series Microphone is a twist on an old favorite. Here is its description:

Will your kids love this? Well, my husband saw this come in the mail and decided to play around with it first. He probably spent half an hour goofing off with it and he’s an adult…ahhh, doing the Chipmunks voice never gets old I’m not sure I could see a huge difference in quality of pitch, but I’m sure your kids will love all the effects and features like adding harmony and chorus while they sing. With Paper Jamz, anyone can sound like Lady Gaga now.

The slider feature for volume control is pretty sleek too. I think the neatest part is being able to download music so you can sing along to your favorite songs – USB cable is provided. With Christmas not too far off, I’d consider this if you have a wannabe rocker or pop princess.
